Collection 1000592 (herbarium acc. no. PUN 277) is Hebeloma nanum. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma sordidum var. microsporum Saini & Atri (1985).

Description

    Collection 1000592 was collected by N.S. Atri (NSA23) on 28th August 1979 in Summer Hill, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, INDIA (approx. 31.1146°N, 77.1399°E, altitude approximately 1985 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Cedrus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as montane, subtropical woodland with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
