Collection 10163 was collected by M. Lenne, det: H.J. Beker on 3rd October 2004 in Goutelle, Luxembourg, BELGIUM (50.015°N, 5.2292°E, altitude approximately 400 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Picea) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 27–64 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre ochraceous; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 56; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 40–67 x 4–9 {median} x 6–11 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.4–10.0; base clavate; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 11.3; smell raphanoid; taste bitter.
Spore deposit colour: yellowish brown, brownish olive.
